Scanning UV/Vis Spectrophotometers

Sedico Ltd.  is proud to introduce its advanced Scanning UV/Visible spectrophotometers of Dual Split-Beam and Double-beam. A double beam spectrophotometer measures the ratio of the light intensity on two different light paths. The beam from the light source is split in two: one beam illuminates the reference standard and the other illuminates the sample. This is advantageous because the reference reading and sample reading can be taken at the same time. The split beam spectrophotometer is similar to the double beam spectrophotometer but it uses a beam splitter instead of a chopper to send light along the blank and sample paths simultaneously to two separate but identical detectors. Thus blank and sample measurements can be made at the same moment in time. Our range of scanning spectrophotometers have rapid and accurate measurements.
